It was an annual tradition for Rob and his friends to go down to Wildwood each Memorial Day weekend. Alli's friend Kate was part of this group of friends and invited Alli to have a little fun in the sun. Little did she know that the weekend would change her life.
Rob had met many obstacles getting down to Wildwood but persevered. While all their friends were having fun on the beech, Alli was worried about the guy that was having issues with his motorcycle making the trip. A guy who she has never met.
Once he walked through the door they instantly clicked. The spent the whole weekend talking and then later made their long distance relationship work until Rob made the jump and moved down to Hershey to be with Alli.
Rob had to go on a business trip at the same time Alli had to attend a conference in Hawaii. Rob first went to Germany to China and then to Hawaii for a long weekend to meet up with Alli while she was at her conference. They watched fireworks together with friends until he pulled her away and walked along the beech. It was there that he asked Alli to spend the rest of her life with him. Alli of course said yes and accepted the ring that literally travelled around the world.
Alli and Rob got married at the beautiful Woodstone Country Club. Although the weather was a little moody, the day was perfect. Alli was absolutely stunning in her Maggie Sotterro gown. Rob cleaned up pretty good too! They enjoyed their first few moments together prior to saying "I Do" to knock out some pics.
Their bridal party was super fun but I'm not sure many can top Rob's father on the dance floor!
I think the one thing I'll always remember about this wedding is how directly after the ceremony, while I was patiently waiting for all the congrats to go around and snag the couple for one last formal photo, they kept saying to each other how they couldn't believe they were finally married and how much they loved each other.
