An Edgewood Summer Wedding

Are so in love that it just shined through on their wedding day! Even though there was a forecast for rain we took a shot and had the ceremony outside which was stunning with the unique blue, purple and black details.

Emily wanted to have a first look with her father. I love daddy/daughter first looks so they can see their baby girl all grown up and ready to get married before walking down the aisle.

The decorated pergola offered a perfect backdrop to their ceremony. I know I felt a few drops as the festivities were beginning but thankfully the rain held out during the ceremony.

Even though it held out during the ceremony, the rain let loose during the formals with their bridal party. Thank goodness for tree coverage where we could finish up their formal photos of the day before heading into the reception!

The reception was decorated in classy black and silver with constellation themed centerpieces. Probably some of the most unique centerpieces I have seen where the center lights up and shows different constellations!

I know I'm a bit strange, but I always pray for rain at night for weddings! I just love how the rain makes the photo sparkly!
