Summer Lake House Wedding

This has been one of the most enjoyable weddings this summer!! The weather was perfect, the location was beautiful and the couple and friends/family were so fun to work with!

Rewind a little bit prior to the wedding day....Austin & Yvonne met way back in 8th grade! Since coming together they love vacationing together and everything outside.

When Austin popped the question, he brought Yvonne to their friends Lake house for her birthday weekend with friends. Austin set up candles out on the dock at night to set the scene and asked her the question that would set the path for their future!

Their wedding was held at the very same lake house. This was the perfect setting for a laid back summer wedding with family and friends. The scenery and location were gorgeous and sparked so much joy to capture!

Austin and Yvonne decided on doing a first look and private vows to each other prior to the ceremony. I always tell my couples that one of my favorite things about a first look is how much calmer the couple feels afterwards. The anxiousness that was being felt just minutes before just evaporates when you get to see your future spouse and it really sets the tone for the rest of the wedding day.

Yvonne also decided to do a first look with her dad and Austin with his mom. These were super sweet and full of emotion. I just love being able to see the parents reactions to their babies all grown up and about to say their I do's!

Can we just take a moment and swoon at this ceremony arch! The rose gold and the florals are just stunning set up with the lake in the background. I am in love with details on the wedding day and these were some of my favorites!

Capturing so many photos prior to the ceremony allowed us to get the family together for some formal photos and capture some more prettiness with Yvonne and Austin before we started the party!
